Drinks

  • Ye Olde Pimm’s tent
    • Quintessentially English, but not quite mediaeval!
  • Hot drinks in the Evelyn Hall
    • Tea, coffee & cream teas

Food

  • Cake Stall
    • Sweet and savoury treats. Eat some at the fair and take some home.
  • Candy Floss
    • A traditional sugary treat at the fair
  • Cream Teas
    • Tea, coffee and cream teas served in the Evelyn Hall (next to the Abinger Hatch)
  • Crêpes,
    • For the first time in 2025 we have vegetarian and sweet crepes on offer
  • Ice Creams
    • Cool, tasty ice creams available to enjoy
  • Spit Roasted Lamb
    • Grab your lamb early as this is really popular and usually runs out before the end of the fair.

Stalls

  • Books
    • You can find adult and children’s books at the stall. Browse the amazing collection of fiction and non-fiction books at the book stall.
  • Bottle Tombola & Children’s Tombola
    • The number of bottles on the bottle tombola is quite extraordinary – last year it was over 600 bottle. Sonia and her maidens collect donations from the village for you to try to win. Many bottle of alcohol to be won – so not suitable for little ones!
    • The children’s tombola has items more suitable for children.
  • Cakes
  • Children’s Corner, Face Painting
    • While away the afternoon doing crafts or you can transform into a tiger or butterfly in the children’s tent.
  • Pilgrims Pottage
    • here you will find Medieval themed souvenirs and costumes for sale. Also various items made by local crafters.
  • Plant Stall
  • Rag, Tag and Bobtail
    • See the amazing collection of jewellery, bags, scarves and gift sets. Something for everyone here
  • Raffle
    • The raffle prizes are all donated by local businesses so you get a chance to win some fantastic prizes.
  • White Elephant
    • Recycle and reuse at this stall. A great way to save both money and the planet. The white elephant stall promises to be brimming with wonderful pre-loved treasures.

Sideshows

  • Mediaeval Stocks
    • These are the villages old stocks. You can throw a wet sponge and the volunteer stuck in the stocks
  • Coconut Shy 
    • How good is your throwing arm? You get to keep the coconut if you can knock it off its perch.
  • Beat the Goalie
    • The football goal posts are behind the stalls at the playground end. Can you score a goal?
  • Splat the Rat 
    • This stall is all about how quick your reaction times are….
  • Toss the Sheaf
    • A show of agility, accuracy and strength. Can you beat the current record that is over 7m
