Timetable

children arrive on the green in the procession

The full detailed timetable is normally posted about 1 month before the event. The 2026 timetable is shown below for what we currently know.

Most events are in the arena except the Punch and Judy show and the balloon modelling which are on the grass in front of the Church. The Music is in St James’ church and we do not yet have the times for that. All events in the arena, grass in front of the church and in the church are free to watch.

Do tag your photographs from the fair with the hashtag #abingerfair for posts on instagram or Facebook so we can be reminded of what a great afternoon this is.

Punch and Judy Show

Our wonderful Punch and Judy shows have been performed for us by Jonathan McCann for many years. These shows are very well attended and much enjoyed by both children and adults.

Jonathan will put on 2 shows in the afternoon, see timetable above or the printed programme for timings. There will also be a display of balloon modelling.

So come along and meet Mr Punch, Judy, the policeman and the sausages at the Punch and Judy shows.
