Timetable

The full detailed timetable is normally posted about 1 month before the event. The 2026 timetable is shown below for what we currently know.

Most events are in the arena except the Punch and Judy show and the balloon modelling which are on the grass in front of the Church. The Music is in St James’ church and we do not yet have the times for that. All events in the arena, grass in front of the church and in the church are free to watch.

Do tag your photographs from the fair with the hashtag #abingerfair for posts on instagram or Facebook so we can be reminded of what a great afternoon this is.

Music in St James’ Church

A full programme of music will be performed in St James’s Church throughout the afternoon. It will feature the Timeline choir, the Meadvale Singers, the Haymakers and a recital on the Domra, a Ukrainian instrument.

2.30 – 3.10pm	Timeline Choir. Listen to a performance of historic music by this wonderful choir
3.20pm – 3.50pm	Meadvale Singers
4.00pm – 4.15pm	The Haymakers. Singing: The Haymakers, It’s a rosebud in June, I courted a sailor
4.20pm	MARIIA RAIEVSKA plays the Domra Enjoy the rare and beautiful sound of the domra, a traditional Ukrainian string instrument
